WiFi problems

I have a Dlink Router/access point and US Robotics PC card 802.11b wifi
network. The computer is running WinXP Pro. The wifi connection is running
with 64 bit WEP encryption. Everything has been working fine...until I
installed WinXP SP2. It ran after the SP2 update. However, whenever I
download anything more than approx 1 mb, even streaming content, the wifi
connection it lost. It;s the radio connection that seems to be lost. I have
to reboot the computer and reset the access point to get it started again.
Regular surfing is no problem, only when there is a lot of data moving, it
shuts down. Updating the drivers for the access point, the pc card and
updating firmware for both didn't seem to help. It only started after the
SP2 package Anyone heard of anything like this happening?
Thanks in advance,
RMD
