I used the File Transfer in Vista, and everything works in MS Office Pro
2003, except Outlook. I got this message: "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook.
Unable to open the Outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened.
The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this condition
persists." Please help!!!

Thanks Roady! I installed MS Office Pro 2007 and Outlook does work. I even
have the .pst files on the new hard drive, but when I try tio import, I get
the "access is denied" message... how do I get around this? Thanks.

Access Denied usually means the .PST file was set Read Only in the transfer
process; this commonly occurs when the .PST file is saved on a CD, which is
Read Only media. Right click the file, click "Properties", make sure the
Read-Only checkbox is NOT checked. Also, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO IMPORT this .PST
file, use 'File|Open|Outlook Data file' and re-connect it. Importing a .PST
file almost always corrupts the Outlook profile in use, plus you lose the
following information:

1. Custom Forms
2. Custom Views
3. Connections between contacts and activities
4. Received dates on mail
5. Birthdays and anniversaries in calendar
6. Journal connections
7. Distribution Lists
