Why was SQL Server installed during an upgrade to Buiness Contact

During upgrading and installing Out Look's Business Contact Manager, Desktop
SQL Server was installed. It now resides on my task bar.

Why do I need SQL, can I delete it or not have it start?

Unfortunately a cut down version of SQL server is used by Outlook for the
Business contact manager and for Outlook connector if you MSN Premium. In my
experience it is a bad application, the cause of many problems in Outlook
2003 but you cannot remove it. If you do not want BCM you can stop SQL by
disabling the two services it uses.
