Hi, John.
I tryied to delete the reckord locking information (*.ldb file) that remains
even when all users have quit the database and I couldn't. Why?

A process still has the file locked. If everyone has exited the database,
then either a reboot of the offending computer will likely fix the problem
or Windows Network Administrator intervention is necessary to free the
process. Use the LDB Viewer to see which workstation has the file locked.
Please see the following Web page for links to the LDB Viewer and other free
diagnostic tools in the "Free Microsoft Access Troubleshooting Tools"
