Access 97 Record-Locking(damn *.ldb file nuisance)

Can someone please tell me how to get around Access 97
record-locking? I can't copy over a db file because
another user has the db locked (*.ldb). Even when I
disconnect the end-user all together the *.ldb does not
go away.

Make sure no one has the file open. Then delete the ldb file. They
sometimes get stuck.
