Why TCP/IP Filter is greyed out in my Win2K

Due to Blast, I need to secure my win2k, I don't have
firewall, so I like to use TCP/IP filter to filter my
inbound traffic, but I can only see the IPSec option, but
no TCP/IP Filter in the TCP/IP Advance settings. How can I
configure the TCP/IP filter for my win2k?

It's odd that the Filter doesn't show but you can probably make
better use of IPSec (block and pass) filters anyway.

Investigate IPSecPol (for Win2000) or IPSecCmd (for XP)

These are much better filters than the simple TCP/IP/UDP
settings on the Options tab.

there are many Firewalls about ... many free for personal use.

I use Kerio and have it to be good http://www.kerio.com/us/kpf_home.html
