Why so slow?

Internet Explorer performed a speed test for my DSL
service @ 633.41 kbps. Netscape performed @ 1592.52
kpbs on the same speed test under same setups. Why is IE
allowing such a slow transfer rate. I have 1.5 mbps DSL,
and should be getting on average at least 1 mpbs.

IE 6. - spyware?

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
