Why Outlook Express Causes my Internet Connection to be disconnect

Hi,

I have broadband connection with Wanadoo. It seems to work fine until you
click on "Send/Receive" at which point the internet connection drops. Does
anybody have any ideas why this might be happening and does anybody have any
solutions?

Did you used to have dialup account? (Check the connection tab for the
account(s) defined)

You might also want to check Internet Explorer's settings since some
application will refer to it on what should be done when it comes time to
establish a network connection.

Thanks for the response.

No it has not been on a previous dialup connection and it has no Network
Connections (stand alone). The Internet Explorer settings are the same as
other computers connected to the Internet.
