You probably have a sent message stuck in the Outbox. Steve Cochran has a
handy utility that can (among other things) clear the Outbox. You can get it
(free) at http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx. You will probably find
that one of the messages in your outbox cannot be opened and may already
exist in your Sent Mail folder. If so, that one is the culprit. If you have
other messages in the outbox that you want to preserve, move them out to
another folder like Drafts, and then download and run the WMUtil.exe file.
Be sure to follow all instructions, including use of the Task Manager to stop
any running WM processes.

You didn't get the word? That's when the Internet collapsed.

Does anyone know if this works for Outlook Outbox?

No, it is not intended to do anything for any program other than Windows
Mail in Vista and only for that program.

Okay, I tried this Utility. Below is the message I got when pushing the
Clear Inbox Button:

Unable to access database.

System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'scxout.dll': The
specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT:
0x8007007E)
at WMUtil.MWMutil1.XOut(IntPtr pszLogPath, IntPtr pszName,
XoutCallbackProc x)
at WMUtil.frmWmUtil1.btnXOut_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)

So, now what do we do?

That indicates that Windows Mail is still running in the background. Did
you read all of the info at this page?
http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx

Please review the info at the bottom of the page about using Task Manager to
close all instances of WinMail before trying to use the Clear Outbox button
and see if that fixes the problem. Post back if you continue to have
problems after reading and understanding all of the info on the page linked
above.

I fixed it. I had the Windows Mail closed & ended the process in Task
Manager, but I had the application opened twice. I didn't know this, I was
extracting the files.

This this worked BEAUTIFULLY!!!! I'm SSOOO excited!!!! Thanks.

If emails are sitting in the Outbox they are not sent. What happens when you
click on Send All?
Try to move the ones in the Outbox to the Drafts folder. If one of those won't
move or delete, it is stuck. Use the Clear Outbox function of Steve's WMUtil
program:
