Why don't I see import/export option in file menu in outlook 2003?

I am using outlook 2003. I have installed complet MS Office 2003. However in
the 'file' menu, I do not see the import and export option. I want to export
my contacts to a spreadsheet, and need to use the export option

Do you have "Full menus" turned on? Check here: View menu > Toolbars >
Customize > Options tab
