Why do my returned emails have odd symbols instead of apostrophes.

Hi,

Recently when I receive replies to my emails that have my original message
in them, they are coming back with very odd symbols in the place of the
apostrophes. This is in HTML in Outlook. Does anyone know why or how to
stop this from happening?

it's the encoding the other persons computer or server uses.

Is there any way to stop it from happening? Does it mean that when they
recieve it, it looks that way?

Conversely, I've received emails that are like that... is there anything I
can do to change it on my end so that their emails look right? Someway to
change something so the the coding is different?

You can try changing your encoding, but if the mail server did it, it may
not help.

How do I do that? I have little or no experience with these type of things
and I'm not sure I even know what you are talking about. What do I do to
change it and what should I change it to?
