Why do I not receive status reports for some tasks?

I receive the status report for some tasks I assign, but not for others. I
have checked that all boxes are checked to keep update copies and send status
report before I assign the task.

The person I assigned the task to has it completed, but I don't and can't
change it in my task list.

I've never heard of this problem, so let's see what may be causing it....

Have they marked it as "complete"?

Are there any rules on either person's computer that prevent the Task
Completed mesage from getting to you?

Hello Judy,

Thank you for offering me assistance.
Yes, I double checked that she marked it as complete. I know nothing about
setting up rules and the other person doesn't either. I tried to look at the
task and couldn't find the word 'Rule' anywhere. Therefore, I was not able
to see if a rule is in place.

In your Inbox, Tools | Rules and Alerts (or Rules Wizard depending on your
version) - are there any rules there or is it a blank screen????

Check the other person's too!
