Why do clear pictures become blurry after inserting into Excell?

I just edited a picture to the way I want it using Paint Shop Pro. I used
jpg. format. It is a very clear and nice picture. When I go to insert it into
Excell, it is blurry. Is there a way to prevent this?

I figured it out after I asked the question. Isn't that the way of things?
Anyhow, I found out that if I went to the tool bar, insert, picture, from
file that it came out blurry.

But if I copied the picture while it was in Paint Shop Pro picture editor
and then went directly to Excel and pasted, it showed up like it was suppose
to for most pictures. For some reason on a couple of pictures, I did have to
an extra sharpen in Paint Shop Pro for it to look clear. It would look like
it was too pixelated in the editor, but came out clear in Excel. I'm not sure
how to explain that, but at least they are clear.

Yes, like Max said, thanks for sharing your discovery. I would mention tho,
that I find that if I'm doing multiple sessions of editing a .jpg and saving
it back to file that it seems to get "worse and worse". To counter, I
usually try to do all my editing sessions with the picture as another type,
like .gif, and then do my final save as a .jpg, if that is the way I want
finally.
