Thanks again guys....I did look at the Dell and with my contact it is
actually higher than the 191T...
Thanks...

Not sure if they have a 19" model - but the Hitachi CML 175SXW (17" so
roughly equivalent to a 19" CRT) is amazing - main feature being a 12ms
response time - very necessary for any fast moving games or films as I still
notice blurring on many sub 25ms models offered by other manufacturers...
They are well priced here in the UK - no idea what they might be in Canada!

I'm running a Samsung191T off a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro w/DVI and
couldn't be happier. I'm pushing Unreal II and WarCraft III at
1280x1024 with no problems. There is no ghosting at all. My only
complaint is that some black tones, particularly in the shadowy areas
of U2, seems to be kind of grayed or translucent. Black definitely
looks better on a CRT. No biggy. I've gotten used to it.

NEC 1760BV, extremely good image, no ghosting, but like you said, black
looks better on a CRT. However, surprisingly enough, you can use this
monitor in a brightly lit room and the image does not look washed out at
all.
Also, with lots of ambient light, black looks black. Only in a darkened
room does the black look...illuminated....backlight bleedthrough I'd
guess.

Yea, that's one positive of LCD that is rarely mentioned. Doesn't
matter if it's broad daylight, you still can see the image on the
screen clearly. With CRT light sources cause annoying reflections.

One more positive about the LCD's. It's very very easy on the eyes :)
