white screen with background at bottom

My computer's background is completely white except for a
small stripe of the background that I have selected. Some
times it turns a beige color. It doesnt matter what
background I have it will still only have a stripe of it
at the bottom.

And this started happening ever since you install Microsoft AntiSpyware,
right? This is a new problem for us here in the newsgroups, I suspect it
could have something to do with your video drivers or some specific unknown
incompatibility issue between your system and Microsoft AntiSpyware? Which
version of Windows are you running?

Try doing a system restore to an earlier time before this started happening,
also, uninstall Microsoft AntiSpyware first to see if it resolves the issue.
If it does, then leave it that way and wait until a more stable build or
beta 2 of Microsoft AntiSpyware arrives.
