Hi everyone,

With concern on this worm poza and blast whatever it is
that's going around at the moment I'm concerned as to how
i can get the right patch to protect myself from this
worm.

When i went to the microsoft bulletin to find out more
and, find the right patch to download for me, I come up
against a problem. there are two types of security
patches for winXP. there's the 32bit and the 64bit
patch. running winver didn't help me to answer this
question. it just told me that I'm using version 5.1 buld
2600 xpsp ( a load of numbers) Service pack 1. I'm using
the Pro version of XP. I don't know which patch to
download. is it the 32bit or 64bit?

any help would be gratefully appriciated.
thanks for your time.

Unless your car and your OS/Computer setup cost the same - you have the
32bit version.
Don't have a car - or your car was REALLY cheap? Then let's put it this
way - you aren't buying the 64bit version at your local retailer with your
computer without KNOWING you just bought the 64bit version.

Okay, looks like it's the 32bit version then <grin>.
thanks for the advice.
