I am loosing my old PC and have saved my old personal mail from Outlook - the
PST file. I am buying a new PC and need to know which version of Outlook/
Office I will need to buy to install my old mail.

Can I do this with the basic Outlook Express ?? pre-installed on most
computers or which version of Outlook will I need to buy in addition - Office
2003 basic addition/ Home Office/ Business ?? and can I buy Outlook
seperately ?? as the price of each version varies considerably ?!

Many Thanks

No, Outlook Express isn't able to open pst-file. This is because Outlook
Express (although its similiar name) isn't related to Microsoft Office
Outlook. It is a completely different program.

It doesn't matter what version of Office you use. All versions of Office
contain Outlook. Prices vary because of additional applications and
licencing methods. Outlook is also available as a separate product.

OE won't use your Outlook data natively. You can get the lowest edition of
Office since I think that includes Outlook. You can also acquire Outlook
seperately, last I knew.
