Can I seperately install Outlook 2007 with Home & Office '07 insta

I need MS Outlook, but only have MS Home & Office installed on my computer.
I'm wondering if MS Outlook 2007 (or with business contact manager) will work
on my computer if I purchase and install it seperately, OR if I need to buy
Office Standard 2007 or better.
Many thanks,
Laurie

That will work but note that a limited amount of features will only be
available when Outlook is part of an Office Suite. The most notable missing
option is Stationery/Theme support.

It will "work" but you won't have full integration - some aspects of spell
and grammar checking will be lacking etc.
See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/standalone.htm for some of the
differences.

My recommendation is if you can get standard for not much more than Outlook
alone, get it. I don't recall offhand if your version qualifies for the
upgrade pricing - but if so, standard shouldn't be too much more than
outlook alone. See
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/FX101754511033.aspx - any office
2007 version apparently qualifies for upgrade to another suite.

If you need BCM you'll need to buy a suite that includes it as its not
available with outlook alone.
