Which processor do I have?

I have bought a new PC which i supposed to have an Intel Pentium 4 Processor
530 with HT Technology processor.

Could someone tell me the difference between this and a standard Pentium 4
processor?

I am running Windows XP. How can I see if this is the processor that has
been installed? If I go to Start,Control Panel,System it reports an
"Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00Ghz 2.99Ghz".

Thanks for your help.

A Hyper-Threading CPU can act like two separate CPUs if you wish. It
possibly would need a switch set in the BIOS to enable this,
