Hyper-Threading won't enable

I have an intel D845PET2 mobo and a Pentium 4 2.4gig processor. I have the
latest bios installed but there is not anything in the bios that
enables/disables the HT. Device manager shows only one processor. I changed
the computer type from Uniprocessor to Multiprocessor by changing the drivers
but that didn't work either. Any ideas? Thanks!

you probably do not have a HT processor. Not all P4s are HT and the 2.4 are
usually not. A P4 2.4 need to be 800mhz FSB looks like your is 533?
