Where's My Messages??

Re:
Outlook 2003, SP3
Outlook Connector v12.0.6423.1000

Messages in my Inbox have no 'From',or 'Subject' info. Sort by icon shows
envelopes open & closed reflecting message status.
Message body has no info at all.
In both cases, all is blank!!

Not all messages but many, and mostly extended date ranges.

Had an irritating problem with OutlookConnector not syncing with hotmail
because Internet Explorer was 'offline' status... baah!

Removed hot mail accounts,
Re-installed (Repaired) OutlookConnector,
Re-added hotmail accountr,
synced and downloaded message headers.

Please advise.

thanks tech Nova but...

I've run scanpst.exe several times, each returning no errors.
The attached accounts are based on OST files.

I'm thinking to try:
1. Add the accounts via Tools > Email Accounts > Add new account > HTTP
instead of OutlookConnector > Add a New Account
2. Repair Install of Outlook

I tried #1 (below).

When prompted with "Your accounts have privilege to work with Outlook
Connector."

a) Transfer | Skip ... I chose Skip.
ALL Inbox headers were downloaded correctly :)

b) Transfer | Skip ... I chose Transfer.
The same original problem :-(

The problem (bug?) appears to be in Outlook Connector.

Any advice?

To clarify;
the problem exists when the hotmail account is attached via Outlook
Connector / type MAPI.
No problem via HTTP type.

Could something possibly be wrong in my (XP) registry?

No problem via HTTP type.

As of September 1, HTTP accounts are scheduled to stop working as Microsoft
disables the DAV protocol. Outlook COnnector will be required at that point,
unless you're satisfied with using a POP account.

Thanks Brian Tillman but...

More evidence that Outlook Connector could be flawed...

In hotmail web-mail the messages that are affected in Outlook appear normal,
nothing missing, so I moved them from the inbox to a new folder.
Did Send/Receive in Outlook, check the new folder and sure-enough the moved
messages are there but still blank.

Any Outlook Connector experts please help!

Is there perhaps a file(s) in either:

C:\Documents and Settings\1_ADMIN\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
C:\Documents and Settings\1_ADMIN\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

that might be of issue?

I have met the same problem some days before. I found a good tool
called Advanced Outlook Repair. You can download a free demo version
at http://www.datanumen.com/aor/aor.exe . I think it is a useful
repair tool for you. It is easy to recover your PST file by using its
wizard. It is a powerful tool to recover messages, folders and other
objects from corrupt or damaged Microsoft Outlook PST files.

Detailed information about Advanced Outlook Repair can be found at
