|| Where to get SATA controller drivers? ||

Hi kurttrail,

Sadly I have tried both of them, and XP refuses to see the drive.

I have tried another SATA cable and power cable but neither made a
difference.

Using a driver from the Intel site failed as well.

I'm wondering if this is going to ever work :(

Thank you all for your interest and help!

Tom
That's a bummer, Tom. I upgraded to SATA recently, and the first
interface card I bought failed in a week. New technology. Did you
call the MB builder?

I guess I am screwed as I see no way to correct the problem other than
sending the drive back and keep on using the IDE drive I have now.

It could be the board, not the drive. Since he seems to have issues,
ie no SATA option in the BIOS, I'd send that back.
