WHERE IS THE SEARCH FOLDER

I'm trying to open the SEARCH FOLDER as described in the Vista help section
(click here to open). I gather it is similar to the XP search that I liked
so much.

However, what I get is a Google search window.

Where is the Windows Search Folder?

Thank you.

That's right. Microsoft were obliged to allow other search engine suppliers
to integrate their product into Vista in lieu of the standard Vista engine.

So STeve, in your (unbiased) opinion, which is better -- the Google search
box or the MSFT display?

Thanks.

I personally use the MSFT search, but maybe I am biased. If you want to
remove the Google search, go to the Control Panel> Programs and Features and
uninstall the Google search.
