Where is the Login User Name Stored

I have a couple of XP Pro and Home systems in a Dr's office that I have
deleted the prior user names from the systems and have added new user names.
The problem is that when the screen saver is activated with password
protection on the old deleted user names re-appear in the login screen when
you come back to the system after the screen saver has been activated. Where
is that user name stored so I can clear it out and reset with the new user
name? I have searched the registry and replaced the old name with the new
name but it still re-appears. These nurses are going to beat me if I can not
fix it.

You can use Tweak UI and prevent these accounts from appearing in the logon
screen:

Tweak UI did not help. Still looking for help. Where is the login name kept
that is puts in the login screen.
