Where is Outlook data held in OfficeXP????

In Office 2003 all Outlook data (emails, contacts, appointments etc) is held in a file called Outlook.pst but can anyone please tell me:-

1. Where is such data held in Outlook XP - I have found a file called Outlook.NK2 and wonder if this is it?
2. Once I find where the data is held, can I convert it for use with Outlook 2003?

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

The NK2 file is the nickname file (autocomplete email addresses). You can do
a file search for your PST file but usually it's located under your profile
(which is located under Documents and Settings), Local Settings,
Applications, Microsoft, Outlook. This folder may be hidden of course and you
would have to unhide it using Tools.
If you are already using Outlook 2003 and have a PST, you don't need to
convert the PST for use with Outlook 2003. Or is this a PST file from an
earlier version of Office? If so, please check the information here:

And the same in Outlook 2002 - do a search for *.pst

Outlook 2003 can open an Outlook 2002 pst directly.
