Where are attachments kept in OUtlook express

I want to access my email attachments but I don't know
where to look. In Eudora there is a folder called
attachments but there is nothing like that in Outlook
Express. Where do I look? Can I tell OE where to put the
attachments in future?

OE keeps the attachments within each mail folder dbx file. You can't tell OE
to put the attachments anywhere except by saving them individually to uour
HDD.
