When publishing site buttons and counters have wrong path ???

Guest

I have 10+ sites all work fine except for 1

When I publish a new or edited page the hover buttons and or counter
images have a path back to my hard drive instead of the server

I am doing every thing write and have done it the same way for 10 years

Some how a file that controls the path when you publish has become corrupt

Is there a way to repair or delete the file? And how can I find that file

On the web when you look at the properties of the image or counter it shows
this

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Owner/My%20Documents/22re.com%20web%

It should be something like this

www.22re.com/images/whateverfile.jpg

I am going bald trying to figure out this problem so any help is greatly
appreciated
Thanks
John

Look at the properties for counter at bottom of page

That normally indicates that you have worked on individual pages without
having the web open on your local machine.

You don't just publish a new or edited page. You publish the entire web,
and check "publish changed pages only"

I changed the domain it publishs to and it corrected the problem ????
now i just need to figure out how to correct the problem when publishing to
the main domain (have multiple domain names that all publish to same server)

Each domain would need to have it own IP address or you would need to make two of the site into
subweb/subsite and then point the domain to this subweb/subsite folders.
