Hi, I am trying to remove: the date taken from my jpg pictures because it is
incorrect. When I began using my camera I didn't set the date on it, and now
I have pictures that say they were taken years before they were taken and
when I make a CD from those pictures to send to clients, it still shows the
incorrect date and year. it looks is as if I am trying to pass off designs
that are older then they are. How do I get rid of the date taken on the
photos when I pass my cursed over it?
I am a designer and this is not a good thing. I am using Windows XP,
professional an early version, I got my computer in 2002.
Thanks to anyone that knows how to correct this.

This can be accomplished in a batch
with the freeware FastStone Image Viewer.

Once you have the program downloaded and installed...
open a folder that contains image files that you wish to
add a new 'Date Taken' date to.

Select one image and type Ctrl+A to select all.

Left click the selected group and choose...Change Timestamp.

Open the drop window and choose...
EXIF Timestamp (Date Time Photo Taken)

Tick...Specify Date Time...

Click the square button to open the calendar and choose the new date.

Click the ...'Apply To Selected Files' button.
