What's wrong with Vista Mail Newsgroup handling

The longer I use it - the more it seems to go wrong

My posts are sometimes not red (mostly red (highlighted) sometimes plain
black)

Replies to me are seldom in red (sometimes red (highlighted) mostly plain
black)

The newsgroup headers (in left pane) are seldom red (sometimes red
(highlighted) mostly plain black)

And now my own original posts seldom park at the top (they're just in date
order)

Am I the only one with these problems or does any one else recognise these
symptoms?

What's going on?

I'm having a similar problem. It used to work great, then about a month or
so ago, all of my posts and some of other people do not appear. They are not
in any filter of some sort. If I go to my XP box, they are there in the
newsgroups, but I cannot see them (although I can see some responses to
them) on my Vista box using Windows Mail.

I have done all of the updates, and this problem persists.

Jethro, what Anti-Virus are you using, and does it scan Emails ?

I had similar problems, so I stopped scanning Emails with my Anti-Virus
(AVG) a few days ago, and so far the problems seem to disappeared, although
I bet they will start again when I send this message.

Kevin.

I'm using Avast and I don't think it even scans Vista Mail (it only lists
Outlook & Internet Mail)

This post for example appears in date order (i have to find it)
