What's using up my hard drive?

My 80 gig hard drive is partitioned. C drive - 20 gigs and D drive 60 gigs.
The C drive is has two gigs of memory left. This has me puzzled as to what's
using all the space. I started checking individual folders and found folder
C\documents and settings\stan\local settings\temp is using 5.80 GB.
I viewed the subfolders and hidden files and can not see anything that has
anything large in them. 31MB was the largest subfolder, with most in the KB
range. Nothing I can see that would even add up anywhere near the 5.80 GB.
How do I find whats using up the space? Can I delete this temp folder
without any repercussions?
I've run Antivirus program and Ad aware & all is clean.

Delete all in Temp, also,if you use system resore, how many restore dates
are present, try deleting all but the last date. You might open C: drive and
chk
what all is on the drive, remove as needed.

I shot my system restore off a couple months ago. Would that still be using
some off the space?

Hve you got Google desktop serach or something running? That cud lea
to files getting indexed and take up space too. Once you delete th
temporary files, recycle bin files, etc run chkdsk and then defragmen
for best results. Also here's a utility i came across that u cud try.

One quick way to analyze if any large files
are "eating" your HDD is to Start > Search
and search for files over say, 1 MB or 2 MB,
in size. I've been surprised at some of the
findings on my HDD...such as Outlook's
..pst file.

Good luck.
