In various parts of my web I am finding the file "thumbs.db." It' in the
images, overlay folder and the main folder. Now I'm FP is putting one on my
desktop. What is this file for? What's it doing on my desktop? Can I delete
these files?

Windows creates this file if you view pictures throught the thumbnail option
in explorer. You can delete them, they will be recreated if you view the
pictures again.

This is cause by you viewing the content of your local web outside of FP using Windows Explorer or
My Computer. The thumbs.db should never be in a web, since you really shouldn't view the web content
outside of FP.
