Fixing Dirt Filthy Front Page Code

S

Steve Horrillo

Al the website's in my sig were designed with Front Page. When I use Front
Pages error check it's showing me dozens of errors. I'm not blaming FP being
that I did a lot of moving things around and changing fonts. But please take
a look at the source for say, www.brokeragenttraing.com or
www.over100percent.com. It amazes me it even works. The extra tags are just
over the top! Is there any quick way to clean up this awful code? I remember
Jimco had some utilities for that but will it work on a mess like I have?

If you're using FP 2002 or 2003, switch to code view, right click and then select "Reformat HTML"

That should clean things up.
The majority of the code in your page is valid. Image swaps create a lot of code.

That said you might want to read some info here:

This guy's site is one big, creepy infomercial. And for a guy who spent 5
years "learning computers inside and out", he doesn't seem to have learned
how to apply all this knowledge.

Which site were you refering to? I'm open to change so please elaborate on
what needs to be done so it's not so "creepy." Although I'm not new to
computers or marketing, I'm new to web design.
