You must have a reading comprehension problem. You were probably absent

I know and I even mentioned Vista in my reply, speaking of your reading
comprehension problem.
If he wanted to know about Ubuntu he would have slithered over to the
dark side and entered the Ubuntu forum.

Ubuntu is nothing but a TOY for geeks (desktop)

Not any more. It's more user friendly than Vista will ever be.

Yes, it's free and people just don't want it. Live with it.

They have to know about it before they can try it. Hence, my mission on
this ng.

Maybe you should take your mission to Nigeria, they would really be
interested in Ubuntu. It's free and they don't have alot of money (with the
exception of the Nigerians pulling off their scam!)

I knew you were stupid and naive being from outer space, but I didn't
know it was this bad. You got your panties down in a MS NG, the wind is
blowing in your face, your p*ss is blowing back into your face and
you're too stupid to realize it.

Shill. That is not the best! Far from it. Kaspersky and Nod32 both rate
higher than Microsoft's One Care.
Yep. I don't think Carey has a single opinion that wasn't written in
Microsoft's marketing department :-(

I'd rather have no virus scanner than Microsoft Don't Care. At least you
won't be lulled into a false sense of security.
All anti-virus software lull you into a false sense of security.
They can all only detect *known* malware.

If you're careful, you don't need anti-virus software at all.

Unless they search for suspicious behavior like Kaspersky 6 does.

If by that you mean heuristics, then get ready for false positives:

Marco

True, and I've already had a couple false positives with Kaspersky 6.
None the less, I'm quite impressed with it!

Um, Nigeria is one of the largest oil producers in the world.

It is curious that you hold Nigerians in disdain. Member of the Klan?

You're nothing but a sick, lying piece of sh*t linux troll who is so
financially broke you can't afford Vista.
Go screw yourself you moron linux loser.

Wait a minute, you are related. You're related to that *clown* in
Help24Hours named Au79 that gets her news paper clipping and posts about
MS this and Linux that Linux that and MS this. Now that *ho* is off the
deep-end with her bias with Linux, and you're another *ho* that's doing
the same thing, but your dumb behind is sitting up in a MS and doing it.

You have lost it and you two are related -- LOL.

Give me a break. We spoke about that last month. You've never heard of the
Nigerian money scam? Better read a newspaper instead of trolling the vista
groups. The reason I was talking about Nigeria is because it would get you
to an area that has limited communications and that would keep you from
spewing your trash to the rest of us. It could be any other poor nation.
Maybe you should go to Eritera, Afghanistan, Somalia, Timor-Leste, Yemen or
another country that would keep you away from posting!

Geeze.

I bought Vista the other day. You must have missed the reply to YOU
where I stated that. Cost me 158.86 euros for a copy of a generic OEM
Ultimate. I also bought an AMD2 Dual Core 4600+, two gigs of Corsair 800
RAM and a PCIExpress nVidia GeForce 7300 at 512 MB to go with it.
Go screw yourself you moron linux loser.

How about BitDefender?

McAfee is overly resource intensive and no better than more efficient
programs as far as detection reliability. They also have a less than
stellar record around causing other problems on the system due to
interference. As such, I don't recommend McAfee, even if free.

My experience is that it too is a bit resource intensive, causing system
slowdowns, though I haven't used the most current version.

My opinion is that good AV software should be unnoticeable unless a
virus is found. Some reviews of BitDefender also indicate it has a
slightly higher than others rate of false positives.

Thanx! Then NOD32 it will be!

Not a lie. I also bought an ASUS motherboard. Course, it's triple
booting with XP Pro and Ubuntu and Vista will only be used for the new
games that require DX10.
