What is a hypertext template?

I'm using FP 2002, Windows XP. I'm wondering what the hypertext template is
and have Googled it, but can't find anything that makes sense (my Help files
don't open in FP...or any software for that matter).

I'm creating a Website and want to create a template to base the other pages
off of. If I change the template, will all the pages based on that template
change? I'm hoping this is what HTT is.

I'm using includes already. Thanks for the help.

You are referring to a Dynamic Web Template. Your assumption of how they
work is correct.

Thank you Dave. Want to make sure...I'm in 2002 and when I File-Save As, I
see Hypertext Template. Will this work the same as the Dynamic Web Template
does in 2003?

I don't believe it will, but I've never used that feature so I can't say for
sure.
DWT is for FP2003 only I believe.

No, you must upgrade to FP2003 or Expression Web. I recommend the
