What everyone needs to know

Before the MVP (M$ Victim Poster) Hermes responded, kurttrail typed:
Who said anything about "must?" You. Who limited this to people
that are buying new computers? You.

People should turn-off sh*t that they really don't need or ever use.
Whether it's when they first get there computer, after doing a clean
install, after cleaning up after being plagued with viruses, worms,
spyware, or whatever and whenever.

I'd want to be "Unknown" too, if I had your lack reasoning ability,
or are you just being purposefully dense?

This "Unknown" is unknown until you look at his headers! ROFL

Windows XP crashed.
I am the Blue Screen of Death.
No one hears your screams.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it is not working.
Windows is like that.

The ramblings of a lunatic include those people who say MS has for decades
neglected to produce secure code. I find that people that make those kinds of
statments have never written a single line of code. Amazing!

Oh, you mean every programmers first code of 'Hello world'? You're right...M$
should only do that, since even that should not be able to get ****ed up by
them.

Geeeeeze! You don't know anything about business management either.

That's right! Damn, Kurt, you should know better that M$ will purposefully
make dodgy code so that it can be cracked to the ass and make its users *buy*
it all over again when they (M$) come out with the latest and greatest virus
attractant! What's the matter with you!

If one thinks about it too much it's a nightmare. Don't install everything
that is available, rather only stuff from reputible companies - and don't
even trust some of them too much.

You mean like WMP? LOL!
I've heard there's a company selling cheap
printers and its CD-ROM installs spyware/adware along with the printer
drivers.

I've *seen* HP install the same spyware when installing their printers.
Naturally, surf with scripting off as default, and keep your system patched.
Run and AV program too. Some guys insist on a firewall of somesort so they
can watch the goings on.

It's about the best advice anyone can give. A firewall is/should be a
necessity.

And so, before anyone buys a computer they must go to the library and read.
The world doesn't work that way.

Not *just* the library, you ****ing imbecile! 'Unknown' fits you perfectly, it
answers the question 'Do you have a brain?'.

There's nothing worse than a female trying to do a mans' job ! :)

....especially when she doesn't have the first idea what she's talking about.

It's smelly fish like this that give genuine, NON rip-off, PC gurus a bad

What's that got to do with a female troll that's ready and willing to con

XP never goes "belly up" unless it's used by somebody who doesn't really
know a computer is for ! ...and that same person is usually a paper
oriented small to medium business person, who thinks that because they've
spent £1500 on a PC package, it's going to miraculously take over all their
paperwork simply by switching it on !!!!!!

Just like a toothache - you don't know how much you miss it until it comes
back.

P.S. - What's a TCP server? Is that like one of those silver wedgie-things
you use to slice and serve pies and cakes? <VBSEG>

P.P.S. - You misspelled "b**bs". Have a nice day.
