Welcome Center Problem

I have Windows Vista RTM. When my computer reboots my Welcome Center does
not appear. When I try to run it the window opens but closes immediately.
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Thanks.

Open the Control Panel then run the Welcome Center and switch on the Run at
startup - lower left corner

Thanks Les, but I can't open the Welcome Center. When I click the app it
appears for less than a second and then disappears.

Funny - it should be working.

A few quick questions:
* Does Control Panel open?
* is there anything in (or under) %systemroot%\system32\oem\info
* can you send the output of: reg query "HKLM\Software\Microsoft
\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions" /s

Thanks,

Hi James,
Thanks for your response.
1) The Control Panel opens.
2) I don't have an \oem folder in System32.
3) I have emailed you the ouput for the reg query.
