Anyone having same problem over past few days? This involves Google / Gmail;
Hotmail; EBay UK and others - seems to be sites that use certain adservers
(often sits indefinitely while status bar says loading this or that adserver
or sometimes akamai - of course this may not be part of the cause, just an
effect). Funny thing is if I empty my caches a few times and keep trying I
sometimes do get them to load eventually - but it is totally unpredictable.
Using XP Pro; ADSL (but problem occurs regardless of whether I use my WiFi
or Ethernet direct to Modem).
Searching Google (when I can get it to work) throws up many past problems
(and suggested solutions -which I´ve tried) but nothing recent.
No new software installed, problem occurs on 2 desktops (one a MAC) and 3
laptops all on XP Pro (all 5 machines using same ADSL service however), no
Firewall changes made recently and ISP says not their fault (But they´re
PFU).
Any suggestions welcome,
