Webs pages not loading correctly

I keep getting web pages that are partially complete.
Most images are displayed with a red x and can only be
restored by right clicking and selecting show picture
which is very time consuming. It's as if the web page
stops loading prematurely. Also, often the page doesn't
load up and action cancelled is displayed. I've checked
for spyware and tried all the options on MS suppoort but
nothing seems to work. Anyone have any ideas?
