I would like to make specific pages secure by adding a username and password
login page. My site is being hosted elsewhere therefore I cannot install any
software onto their servers. I would like to know if there's some software
out there I can use to to create such a page. I have used RiadaLock that
generates a logon page and allows me to create users, but I am still able to
access the webpage when I bypass the login.htm page. I've heard of people
using an access database to hold and confirm usernames and passwords, is this
correct? I would like to make sure that users cannot access the specific
pages unless logged in. I'm not very savy with frontpage as you can see, so
I will need a lot of assistance with this if possible.

ALL replies would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

First you need to know what OS your site is hosted under and what server-side scripting and database
is supported by the web host.
