If I want to download a lot of pictures or documents from a website,
I use the Firefox extension DownThemAll.

Wextract.exe is a Microsoft file. Do a Google search and you will find this
file to be harmless.

WebRipper from SamsonSoft is an application able to perfom automatic
mass downloads of pictures, videos, audio and much more from websites.
It also has an additional cool feature which enables you to use the
built in search-engine integration to perform search on the internet
from within the software, and then automatically download the resulting
files. I've been using it for almost a month now, and it suits my needs
perfectly. It's well worth a try.
