Web Fonts Too Big on MS Sites

I am using XP with SP2 and Internet Explorer 6.0.2900. When I go to some
sites (Microsoft sites are the only ones I have noted so far) I cannot read
the pages because the fonts are so large. When trying to use Microsoft
update features the word "download" takes up the entire screen. This also
occurs when I try to get clip art from the Microsoft site. If I go into
internet options, accessibility, and check on "ignore font sizes specified
on pages", I can then read the pages.

What could be causing this problem?

Thanks for any help.

In IE select View>Text Size.

You can choose the size you like.
