web 404

I did the mistake in IIS to create an application on the
Exchange virtual directory, and then I removed it, but
after that I got no access at all to Outlook web access.
I clicked "Create application" again, and now the outlook
webaccess works but I cant see any email:s containing
pictures. On those I will only get an 404 - file not
found error.

How could I set things back as they were?

Ask in an Exchange newsgroup as OWA is part of Exchange not Outlook.
