Ahh newbie here, lets skip the hazing, I'm logged in at work so feel free to bother me if you want. Umm.... my job.... pc tech support, and no I don't have all the answers. If it has not been posted on the internet by now , then my answer is FDISK it.

We dont use FDISK anymore ... but hello anyway. ;)

yea I know, recovery consoles and repair cds, but hey , I like the old school ways. And when all else fails FDISK still works

FDISK...now there's a trip down memory lane. I havent used that for about 3 years.
Although it was an invaluable little tool at the time.
