My son just bought Warcraft reign of chaos and frozen throne. We installed
them with no problems but when he goes to play either of them he gets a
"fatal error" message relating to the reign of chaos "access violation" and
something about not reading memory at a certain address. I uninstalled
windows xp s2, but still the same. Have un installed the game serveral times,
still doesnt work. Any ideas I dont have a clue. Also he used to be able to
play coounter strike and he cant play that either. Help please !!!!

You have
1) HArdware fault
or
2) Game not updated ? (install latest patch)
or
3) some crack that gives that error

Hi Violin,

Try this method to resolve the issue..
Boot into "SAFE MODE" using an Administrator Account:

To get to the safe mode option, Shut Down and then power on your
computer, keep pressing F8 until the Safe Mode menu appears. :)
