Wanted: WS_FTP95 LE-like

T

Thore

Hi...
I have been using WS_FTP for 7-8 years on various Win 3.11 - Win95 and
Win98 (SE) machines just to upload homepages...

Now I finally have upgraded one PC to Win XP SP2, and WS... don't work
anymore...:(

I have several domains and one smart thing was wit WS... that accounts
could be saved with login-names, passwords and so.

Just click on the name of the domain, and I had 2 windows - the PC on
the left and the server (web-hotel) on the right... mark files on the
left and hit the arrow in the middle...and thats that..

Is there a simple program out there (freeware) that can do these simple
things? Nothing fancy, but shall work with XP though...

Hi Thore;

I've been using ws_ftp 5.08 on my win2k sp3 system w/o any problem. You
can google for a location or use the linky below. Btw, people rave
about filezilla. Haven't tried it tho.

g'luck,
Sparky

How about just one good reason? NT-based operating systems use
protected kernels. Fewer (much fewer) crashes.

But then, to each their own.
