AVG Automatic?

T

Thore

Here's the scenario:

A Test PC is up and running with Free AVG 70
I manually run Adaware.

Virus is found in some files

1) "Do you want to move this file to the Vault"

2) Yes, of course,,, I click and Adaware runs...

Then a new virus is found ...

GoTo 1) and 2)...

In all there was 16 files with virus/trojans, and I have to look at it
all the time...

Is there a way to configure AVG to just delete the files and let Adaware
go on? Or do I have to run AVG first, and the Adaware (and other prg's)

Do it in safe mode (press and hold down F8 key before the Windows
splash screen) and you will have better chance to get rid of those
spyware and virus.

First (before go to safe mode) update all your antispyware programs -
Ad-aware and Spybot - S&D. Update your antivirus as well.

Next, got to safe mode. Use antispyware programs (one by one) to scan
through your HD.

After that use antivirus to san through your HD

Thanks for reply...but I'm not sure you know what I mean..:)

It's a test machine with virus and spyware installed...:)
I build the PC for testing freewareprograms...

What I meant was: How to set AVG to automaticaly delete infected files
instead of stopping with the words "Virus found" and waiting for my
respons... it's annoying that AVG every time it find a virus, the
program waits for me to answer YES I want to move the file to the vault.

Free AVG70 can be configured to just delete files and go on scanning,
but if I start my testsession with Adaware scanning for spy'es, AVG (of
course) find virus in some files. And in this situation, it waits for
respons from me...

Hope this clarifies the (small ) problem...

As suggested, do it in safe mode. DISABLE AVG, and let AdAware do its thing
uninterrupted.
