Wallpaper deletion

Under the display settings, the "choose your wallpaper"
list is picking up pictures that I don't want as
wallpaper. The pictures were under "My Pictures" file so
I moved them to a different file. They still show up on
the wallpaper list. I looked in the c:\Win|Web|wallpaper
folder as well as the c:\Winnt|Web|wallpaper folder but
just the traditional wallpaper choices are there. Please
advise on how to make Windows only show the traditional
list of wallpaper choices.

You can't easily. This issue I brought up in February 1999 when Windows 2000 came out. I hacked a way to do it but using it was more work than I care to do.

The idea is to remove from My Pictures everything. They (images) won't show up in available wallpaper then obviously. Then you have to set IE to save elsewhere by default images that you've saved. This is tough.
