I have a W2k Server and my network is a mix of W2K Pro and W98
W98 clients computers not always are able to logon on network, sometimes is displayed a message saying that is not able to reach the domain controler. I have a WINS and DNS server and DNS is configured for WINS lookup
What might be causing this logon problem to W98 clients computers
If I delete all WINS records to for W98 computers to register them again, will help to resolve my problem

Please, I need some help

Thanks

PS.; No problems with W2K Pro logon.

Does the winipcfg on those w98's show that everything is pointing to the
server-IP? How many nics in your server?
Got options 044 and 046 (0x8) in DHCP-server, Scope options?
