W32.Swenn.A@mm

Since 11/22 I have received emails containing an attachment infected
with the W32.Swenn.A@mm virus. I receive several of these daily.
Fortunately; my Norton Antivirus 2002 has been detecting and
quarantining these items. Is anyone else experiencing this nuisance?

No, no one has received this virus which began on Sept 18 and is the most
widespread virus/trojan ever let loose on the planet. Apparently you are
the only one ever to get this virus. Sheesh.

yes... many, many people are and have been since september... some
folks (myself included) have gotten thousands per day during it's
peak... it seems to be slowing down now, though...

Thank you for your adult, informative view. Although this virus may
have begun distribution on 9/18; I just began receiving infected emails
on 11/22. I have NOT been actually infected with the virus and was just
curious if any one else has been RECENTLY deluged.

Thanks again for your intelligent support. It's users like you that
make these forums so helpful.

And it is illiterate, useless ****s like you that we laugh at.

Illiterate' is a bit strong, don't you think?

It's an adequate description since:

1. There are over a months worth of posts on the virus archived on
Google, as well as on several news servers.

2. Symantec has the information on their website as well.

Although illiterate may be incorrect, "too stupid to read" may be more
accurate.

I wonder what you guys will be like when you reach puberty! Happy
Thanksgiving!!

You must have missed the ACAV "Miranda Warning"...

You have the right to remain silent. If you chose to give up that right
anything you say can and probably will be used to flame you until extra
crispy. :)

Happy thanksgiving.

Abe Lincoln is purported to have said: "It is better to remain silent and thought a fool than to
speak up and remove all doubt."

'Something to be said for lurking for awhile, don't you think?

We'll still be flaming dumbasses like you. Especially on holidays.

Flaming's not allowed. Haven't you read Stalker Steve's charter?

You're not on acv now, you know.

Unfortunately these things do not come with a label. Yours may just be
something similar. However if you had not received it earlier, it's
likely that you belong to an ISP group that has not been infected
before.
