W2k Setup Error

I am trying to do a Windows 2000 Advanced Server install
on a Dell Poweredge 6300 using a bootable cd rom with
Service Pack 3. When prompted to install any additional
array controllers, in this case a Dell PERC 2 array
controller, I select F6, and then S to specify the device
drivers on a floppy I get this error no matter which disk
I use or even different floppies:

An unexpected error(0) occurred at line 962 in
D:\nt\private\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.

Dell doesnt know what to make of it, and since its not
disk related it must be OS related. Has anyone ever seen
this or have any ideas on how to get around, under or
through it?
Any help is greatly appreciated,
Richard

This error is happening because the directory structure on your floppy disk
is incorrect (a file is not where it is supposed to be). Was the floppy
created by copying files to the floppy, or was a setup routing run that
prompted you for the floppy disk?
The latter is the best way to ensure the proper files are in the proper
directory structure on the floppy disk.
